Qme collects as little as possible. No email, no phone number, no social login, no date of birth, no account.
What we store: the first name you type when creating a Qme, the display name a player types, the answers given, and the resulting scores.
On your device: a random creator code is saved in your browser so you can return to your dashboard without signing up, along with your language choice. Clearing your browser storage removes your access to that dashboard.
What stays private: your correct answers are never shown publicly, and no player ever sees another player's individual answers — only names and scores.
Deleting: open your dashboard on the device you created from and tap "Delete my Qme". That removes the Qme, its questions, its players and all scores permanently.
Abuse protection: to stop spam, we briefly keep a scrambled, one-way code derived from your connection. It can't be turned back into your IP address, changes every day, and is deleted within 24 hours.
We count simple totals (Qmes created, Qmes played, share and copy-link taps) to understand whether Qme is working. No tracking cookies, no ads, no third-party analytics, and nothing is sold or shared.
